Starting… runs the pre-start checks and loads the strategy; Stopping… cancels / closes what was chosen in the Stop dialog.

Annotations: ① + Add bot opens the Add bot dialog (04b). ② Name opens the bot page (04c). Sorted by Name; no search, filter or paging in v1. ③ Status: Starting… / Running / Paused / Stopping… / Stopped / Error (chips in the variant). A second line gives the reason when the bot changed state by itself: Paused · Daily loss limit (Daily max loss reached; stays paused until you Resume it, at the earliest the next day), Stopped · Max loss limit (Max loss reached), or the error message (Tradier 401: access token expired). Pause only stops opening new positions: the strategy keeps managing open ones, exits and stop-losses keep working (freqtrade stopentry). Stop ends the algorithm (confirm, 04e). ④ Mode: Paper (live market data, fills simulated locally) or Live (real orders). Strategy shows the class display name and the pinned version; Connection the broker / exchange connection (06). ⑤ Equity = the bot's allocated capital (Max capital, or Initial cash for Paper) plus its P&L, in the connection's currency. Today P&L is since 00:00 local time, Total P&L since the bot was added. Uptime of the current run; — when not running. ⑥ Actions depend on the status: Running: Pause, Stop · Paused: Resume, Stop · Stopped: Start · Error: Restart · Starting: Stop. Start / Resume / Restart run the pre-start checks; a Live bot asks for confirmation (04e). ⋮ menu (open on VegasTunnel · ETH): Promote to Live (Paper only), Liquidate now, Delete (only when Stopped). There is no Edit in the list: click the bot name to open the bot page (04c) and edit it there. ⑦ Snackbars (variant). ⑧ Empty state (variant). When the server restarts, bots that were Running or Paused come back in the same state automatically. Stock bots trade regular trading hours only. Not in v1: audit / activity log, Duplicate, max open trades.
